Stairway to heaven

Sitting on a calm lake, hand in hand,
Water is still warm but cold is sand,

Star studded skies, in water so blue,
I bet, the silver moon is jealous of you..

With you my dear, I have no fear,
Your breath.. the air, becomes rhythm I hear..

My notes on piano my harmony so new
Each note creates, music so true..

From deep in my heart, I'm not gonna lie,
The words I hate the most is to say 'good bye'..

A single distinct sound...................

A single distinct sound, I let the pebble drop,
Those ripples around it that will now never ever stop..

The moon gets shattered by circles on the lake,
An illusion or reality?... and now I am awake..

Please let me go back, to where I was,
Let me lay there.. forever.. on a stairway to heaven..
