On the backdrop of "Irene" and "Lee" much cooler and windy weather makes its appearance on the stage. Everyone in the crowd appreciates. - "A new drama in life"
Since a long time I was sitting at home or office. (due to heat? or due to my mental inertia?) For a guy like me who likes to wonder it was particularly restless experience. Summer term ended a week or two ago, and now the fall has started. (FYI this summer was the most happening summer) usually people rest in summer when I was carrying 2 jobs and class credits. Going to road trip to "smokey mountains" was highlight of all. 2500 miles of pure heaven.. Coming back from which I had my exams the next day. I slept for 14 hrs straight.. LOL..
I went to exam (These open book exams!!) it was too easy and summer term was officially over. There were 2 weeks ahead to have some rest (I was all tanned and sun burnt from the road trip). But it was not supposed to happen..!!!!! No rest.. My deadlines for project got shifted by a month with 7 days notice and I had to power through all the time. Day and night the work was on. (getting paid for the work is great but not at the cost of life). I dont know exactly why I dont like environments which are poorly constructed to work! (Poorly constructed from my point of view). "Briefing a non medico person about the work who is going to talk with medico person at the top to tell the progress and address the issues" is the worst for me. Anyways.. so there were some administrative problems..
A whole new crop of students has come here to houston from India so new friends are getting added on FB. An initiative of creating a FB community for "Indians@ UTHSC" was cooking in my brain, which finally delivered. Now there is a platform to share and discuss. Everything otherwise (like wasting my time on fruitless chatting on FB) is going on unchanged.
Fall term is supposed to be a bit restful for me. ( I need a timeout) I am hoping that the timeout is the answer for getting my mind on the track. I need to decide my career decision. Going with Epi PHDwith MS Bioinfo, or Bioinfo PhD, or Residency remains the key question. I am keeping myself busy so that I wont have to face this question. (I know BAADDDD) but I am not there yet to decide.. (I believe I am not) I am forcing myself in a decision. There is a lot of tug-o-war.. That sometimes wears me down than the actual work. Lets see what I decide.
BTW .. I got my HP touchpad for just 99 bucks.. yaay.. waiting for cynogen mod for HP to appear soon. (I bricked my Palm pixi while unlocking it through webos doctor..!! I moved my laptop and USB slipped. Damn... I need to create boot loader for the device once again through Linux but I dont have that much time. :( god send me some 3 years at least. Reset my clock for 3 years behind. There is a lot I have been missing since last 3 years.. (LOL irrational demand) .
One more update. Drkarhade.blogspot.com is going to be updated regularly now.. So be on lookout for all the information. I dont know how much legal is it to use information on medscape to put on the discussion board of the blog. I have added disclaimer on its a property of the medscape and I am ready to take it down whenever medscape mails me.
